What Letter Is This?

Photograph the Korean paper that came in the post. It tells you what kind of letter it is, by when, how much and what you have to do — and opens the number to call. Korean and English. For Android phones.

What it does not do — written down plainly

This is not legal advice. It reads the paper and points out what kind of letter it is and what has to be done by when. For anything that matters, call the number it shows and ask a person.

The less text the camera catches, the less it gets right. Measured on real public notices: with about 1,200 characters it was right 84.3% of the time; with only 350 characters, 55.7%. Photograph the whole page in good light.

If the paper has no deadline, it does not invent one. When it does not know, it says so.

Nobody has yet photographed a real letter with a real phone. The screens, the install and the built-in reader have been checked; how well the camera reads an actual notice has not been measured. Try it and leave one line — the next build will fix what you find.
