Photograph the pouch or bag your medicine came in. It reads
“times a day · how many days” and builds a timetable, and the phone reminds you when it is time. For Android phones.
Not one line of anybody else’s advertising
Nothing covers the screen. Nothing makes you wait. At the very bottom there is one line: “Made by Valuestools”.
It does not even ask for internet permission. What you take stays on this phone.
The photo is deleted right after reading. It never leaves the phone.
No account, no server, no monthly fee.
Getting ready…
Open this page on the phone and press the button.
If you download it on a computer you will have to move the file across.
Once you have it
Tap the downloaded file (Valuestools Pill Pouch Timetable.apk).
If it asks about "apps from unknown sources", choose allow.
— that is because it is not on the Play Store yet.
Go to Medicines → Add medicine → Fill in from a photo of the pouch.
Check what it read and press Save. The first time, allow notifications when asked.
— reminders then switch on by themselves. You can turn them off in Settings.
Reading from a photo is tuned for Korean pharmacy pouches. In English you can simply type the times in.
What it does not do — written down plainly
It never tells you what a medicine does or how much to take.
Follow your pharmacist and doctor. This app only keeps track of when.
If it cannot read the photo it does not guess. It says so and lets you type it in.
When the phone is saving battery a reminder may ring a few minutes late.
Each time you open the app it sets up the next 7 days again.
Korean and English, both
It follows the language your phone is set to, and you can change it in Settings.
