밸류스의 모든 프로그램은 “여러분의 파일은 여러분의 컴퓨터를 떠나지 않는다”는 원칙으로 만들어졌습니다. 문서 정리, PDF 편집, 스크린샷 편집 같은 실제 작업은 전부 사용자의 컴퓨터 안에서만 일어나며, 그 내용을 밸류스의 서버로 전송하지 않습니다.
이 원칙은 휴대폰에서 쓰는 작은 웹 도구(암기 수첩, 오늘의 속담, 마음 서랍, 화장대 수첩)에도 그대로 적용됩니다. 적어 두신 내용은 그 기기 안에만 남고, 밸류스로 오지 않습니다.
밸류스가 직접 수집하는 개인정보는 다음과 같이 최소한입니다.
맛보기 PDF를 내려받거나 무료 프로그램·무료 웹 도구를 쓰실 때는 가입도, 이름도, 전자우편 주소도 받지 않습니다.
카드 결제는 국내·해외를 가리지 않고 모두 Paddle(Paddle.com Market Limited, 영국)이 처리합니다. 밸류스가 따로 쓰는 국내 결제대행사는 없습니다. Paddle은 기록상의 판매자(Merchant of Record)로서 자체 개인정보처리방침에 따라 결제 정보를 처리합니다.
Paddle이 영국 회사이므로, 카드로 결제하시면 개인정보가 국외로 넘어갑니다. 아래와 같이 알려 드립니다.
국외 이전을 원치 않으시면 카드 결제를 하지 않으시면 됩니다. 다만 그 경우 카드로 사는 상품은 구매하실 수 없습니다. 책은 편지로 주문하시므로 Paddle을 거치지 않습니다.
수집한 전자우편 주소는 라이선스 키 발급, 책 파일 전달, 구매 확인, 구독 관리, 문의 답변, 업데이트 안내 목적으로만 사용됩니다. 별도 동의 없이 마케팅 목적으로 사용하지 않습니다.
“관련 법령이 정한 기간”이라고만 적으면 손님이 알 수 없으니, 실제 기간을 적습니다.
기간이 끝난 정보는 지체 없이 파기합니다.
보관 기간이 끝났거나 목적을 다한 개인정보는 대표가 직접 확인한 뒤 파기합니다.
손님은 언제든지 아래 권리를 쓰실 수 있습니다.
행사하시는 방법은 하나뿐입니다. ranger7903@nate.com으로 편지를 보내 주세요. 대리인을 통해 하셔도 됩니다. 받은 날부터 10일 안에 처리하고 결과를 알려 드립니다. 법령에 따라 꼭 보관해야 하는 기록은 지워 드릴 수 없는데, 그때는 어떤 법 때문인지 답장에 적어 드립니다.
처리 결과가 마땅치 않으시면 개인정보 분쟁조정위원회(1833-6972), 개인정보침해 신고센터(국번 없이 118), 대검찰청(1301), 경찰청(182)에 도움을 청하실 수 있습니다.
법령에 따른 경우를 제외하고, 수집한 개인정보를 제3자에게 판매하거나 제공하지 않습니다. 결제를 위해 Paddle에 넘어가는 정보는 위 3항에 적은 그대로입니다.
1인 상점이 할 수 있는 만큼, 이렇게 지키고 있습니다.
홈페이지 몇 곳에 말을 걸 수 있는 작은 상담 도우미가 있습니다. 이 도우미는 손님의 브라우저 안에서만 움직입니다. 주고받은 말을 밸류스나 다른 어느 곳으로도 보내지 않습니다. 인터넷에 무언가를 요청하는 순간은 딱 하나, 상품 값이 적힌 이 홈페이지의 파일을 읽어 올 때뿐입니다. 창을 닫으면 나눈 말도 함께 사라집니다.
2026년 9월 28일부터, 홈페이지의 각 쪽이 몇 번 열렸는지를 셉니다. 무엇을 고쳐야 할지 알려면 손님이 어느 쪽에서 돌아서시는지 알아야 하기 때문입니다.
다만 손님이 누구인지는 알아내지 않습니다. 이렇게 해 두었습니다.
세는 조각은 홈페이지의 세기.js 한 파일에 따로 담아 두었습니다.
무엇을 하는 조각인지 누구나 열어 보실 수 있습니다.
개인정보를 다루는 일은 대표가 직접 맡고 있습니다.
이 방침이 바뀌면 바뀐 내용을 이 페이지에 올리고, 맨 위의 시행일을 고쳐 적습니다.

Every VALUES program is built on one rule: your files never leave your computer. Actual work — organizing documents, editing PDFs, editing screenshots — happens entirely on your own device and is never uploaded to a VALUES server.
The same holds for the small web tools for your phone (암기 수첩, 오늘의 속담, 마음 서랍, 화장대 수첩). What you write in them stays on that device and never reaches us.
The personal information VALUES collects directly is minimal:
Downloading a sample PDF, or using the free programs and free web tools, requires no account, no name and no email address.
All card payments, Korean and international alike, are processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited, United Kingdom). There is no separate Korean payment provider. Paddle acts as Merchant of Record and handles payment data under its own privacy policy.
Because Paddle is a UK company, paying by card transfers your personal information abroad. The details:
If you'd rather not have data transferred abroad, don't pay by card — though that means you can't buy the card-checkout products. Books are ordered by email and never go through Paddle.
Your email address is used only to issue your licence key, deliver book files, confirm your purchase, manage your subscription, answer questions, and send occasional update notices. It is never used for marketing without your separate consent.
"As long as the law requires" tells you nothing, so here are the actual periods.
Once a period ends, the information is destroyed without delay.
Information past its retention period, or no longer needed, is checked by the owner and destroyed.
You may, at any time:
There's one way to do it: email ranger7903@nate.com. You may act through a representative. We handle the request and reply within 10 days. Where a record must be kept by law we cannot delete it, and we will tell you in the reply which law requires it.
If you are unhappy with the outcome, you can contact Korea's Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee (1833-6972), the Privacy Infringement Report Centre (118), the Supreme Prosecutors' Office (1301) or the National Police Agency (182).
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties, except where required by law. The only data that goes to Paddle is what is listed in section 3.
As much as a one-person shop can:
A few pages have a small chat helper you can talk to. It runs entirely inside your own browser. Nothing you type is sent to VALUES or anywhere else. The only network request it ever makes is to read this site's own price files. Close the window and the conversation is gone.
Since 28 September 2026 we count how many times each page is opened, so we can tell where visitors turn away.
We do not work out who you are. Specifically: no cookies are set, individual visitors are not followed or linked across visits, and no name, email address or phone number is used for counting. Cloudflare Web Analytics does the counting; all we see are numbers — which page, from which country, by way of which link.
The counting snippet lives in a single file, 세기.js, so anyone can open it and read exactly what it does.
Personal information is handled by the owner in person.
If this policy changes, the new version is posted on this page and the effective date at the top is updated.
